Thompson Extendable Conveyors & Gates warrants, to the original purchaser only, each of its new products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, with the exceptions listed below, for a period of (5) FIVE YEARS from the date of purchase. The obligation of Thompson Extendable Conveyors & Gates is limited to, at its sole discretion, the repair or replacement of the defective part. The repaired or replaced part shall assume the remaining warranty of the original product or (90) ninety days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides the longest coverage to the Customer. Thompson Extendable Conveyors & Gates may require the (prepaid) return of any part for inspection in order to help determine the cause of the defect and insure product quality. If the damage, defect or failure is deemed by Thompson Extendable Conveyors & Gates to have been caused by abuse, accident, neglect or misuse, it will be void from warranty. This warranty shall immediately become void if any addition, alteration or modification is made to the product without the prior written consent of Thompson Extendable Conveyors & Gates or if the product is used in a manner other than that expressed or intended by Thompson Extendable Conveyors & Gates.
